The interviews, conducted to explore technical, theoretical, and ethical aspects of the theory and practice of brief therapy, offer the give-and-take spontaneity that can only be found in an interview style. The selection of the content is based on both the expertise of the interviewees as well as those issues of most concern to the field: managed care and economics, ethics, and being solution-focused.
