I was a student of Terry's from 1992 to 2000 so this review might be somewhat biased but who cares. This book is a must read for anyone who is seriously interested in taking their acting skills to greater levels. In my own personal experience I can vouch for everything that is taught in this book. I did every exercise mentioned in the book under Terry's personal guidance and I have applied the techniques and methods in many professional circumstances. I have been a profesional actor who has worked on television and film in both New York and Hollywood for close to twenty years now. If followed carefully the exercises in this book will open up the inner life that an actor needs to make characters and scenes come to vivid life. I really can't say enough great things about Terry. I think he is a treasure in the acting/theatre world and I am so grateful that he has written this book because I live in Hollywood now and having the book feels like he is right there with me. Thanks Terry! You are a true master!
