Thank Goodness that this book is not a User manual or Engineering documents that one has to refer to build robots! My wife teaches robotics to kids in school's evening clubs and also in various summer camps in Silicon Valley CA, We bought this for teaching kids grades 5 thru' 8. The last thing we want in a classroom filled with kids with great expectations is another user manual to refer to get them interested. When you give kids a chore to do it just does not work.
This book on the other hand is very good because using this you help a character "Evan" and the team of explorers navigate through the old pyramid and discover King Ixtua's tomb. We can Read the stories to kids, examine the environments which allows the kids to have a goal mind and helps them to understand the need to build the robot, and the instructional elements in the book help build and program the robots that will allow the team to move closer to the secrets of The Mayan Adventure.
