Kierkegaard on Faith and the Self: Collected Essays (Provost)
C. Stephen Evans
Most who are familiar with Kiekegaard know him largely as an irrationalist and this has tremendous import as we understand his metaphysics, epistemology and ethics. This book is tremendous in that it deconstructs Kierkegaard not according to our familiarity with him but according to his context and his writings. It's a solid book that demonstrates that Kierkegaard is largely misunderstood. I think you will find the book scholarly, challenging, and even inspiring.
