I am so proud to be the first reviewer of this book. Words can not express. Being that I am one of the authors I have to say I am a bit biased. But this kind of thinking is OUT THERE, thank GOODNESS! In the "third wave" of behavior therapies: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commiment Therapy, those Mindfulness Therapies, the stuff that comes from these authors/editors, is like, IT. It seems to me that without FAP I'd still be waffling among a myriad of different theories that have no glue among them, trying to explain to my clients how they could get better, etc. without much success. I like this book. I like all the FAP books. I like that I was asked to be a co-author. This is like glue. I got to be a psychologist with all that psychodyamic stuff in the background, but I still return to what makes sense to me. And this is it. This matters. It makes sense. You should read it.
