i was considering purchasing this book as i noted there are some great veg recipes; however, when i learned that it is not vegetarian decided not to buy it. i have learned from the reviews that it talks about going green. in my mind eating animals does not support 'green' lifestyle and it only continues to perpetuate the cycle of destruction within our environment. The benefits of a veg diet for a green planet has been detailed by John Robbins who has devoted his life to bringing awareness and education to humanity with the advocating of vegetarianism to save the resources on earth, and to live compassionately toward all beings.
