I was drawn to this book and picked it up while I was out of town visiting friends. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, but what I found was a spiritually uplifting little book. I also had a bad childhood, so I would say I bought it as sort a comfort item for my inner child. It definitly worked! This book doesn't have a lot of Witchy stuff. It just helps uplift a young (or not so young) woman's spirit and remind her the Goddess is always there for her.

Now that I have read it I actually have several teens in my space that are looking for some guidance. I feel very good about exposing them to this book. I don't believe in recruiting and I don't feel that's what this book does. It is simply a spiritual support for an unsure teen that will help them feel more like choosing a spiritual path on their own.

I will probably give a copy to my sister for her inner child also;-)
