I prescribed this book to many beginners those who learn ship dynamics and to many practical ship designers when they get some doubts about the basics. The author had used a very simple language to explain the complex nature of ship behaviors and with very clear practical oriented example calculations. Anybody those who doesn't even know the basics of dynamics can pick ups this book and can become master without the help of anybody. The formulas given for the motion responses of ships under various sea conditions are highly authentic ones and I found it matches very near to the expensive computer program results. I very much impressed by the way the author used to explain the irregular seaway and wave loads. Superb
