The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that jobs in financial services will grow 12 percent over the next several years. The demand will be higher for certain positions in accounting, financial reporting, client services, and risk management due both to recently enacted legislation that imposes more rigorous financial reporting standards and to demographic changes, including a rise in the elderly population. ''Career Opportunities in Banking, Finance, and Insurance, Second Edition'' profiles 86 jobs, including eight new to this edition. All information has been reviewed and updated to reflect current industry trends and salaries. The appendixes have been completely revised and updated as well.
