As a statistician student, i would like to stress that this book is great for those looking to apply this wonderful mathematics tool. Through this book is possible to combine theory with practice and also dive into the actuary world's. You need not be an actuary, but if you want to work in an insurance company, whether in IT or risk management, this book will be very useful. For actuaries I imagine the comments are not needed, given that a simple looking on the front pages of the book will already be sufficient to notice that this book is great book. There are a very variety of exercises.Good reading!
