I absolutely agree with Jeff's review. For me this long expected book (advertized at COMSOL Conference) was nothing but disappointment. The author does not bother to explain anything. You are supposed just keep clicking without understanding what you are doing and why. One typical example. Page 221, Summary for 2D Hall effect model says: "Chapter 4 have introduced new concepts: ..., weak constraints,... " Curious about weak constraints? Look at page 176, where they were introduced: "Click the Weak Constr. tab. Verify that the Use weak constraints check box is checked". That's all you can get about weak constrains. Still curious? Look at Index: "Weak Constrains: pp. 176, 221". You cannot learn much from this book.
