This book provides a general introduction to real estate investing. It covers topics such as foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, auctions, mobile homes, rehabbing, real estate notes, and even commercial real estate. I read this book years ago, and it gave me a general understanding of what is possible in the field of real estate, but I had to educate myself more after that.



I don't understand why some people are judging this book based on the author's past. It has nothing to do with whether this book is worth reading or not. I don't know the author personally, but how many times did you check the background of your high school teacher before you took his or her class? Besides, many times people who are successful are not the greatest people to be around. But that doesn't mean you cannot learn from them. Like I said, this book provides a decent introduction, but you need to learn more to be successful.
