I like this book as an excellent introduction and quick guide to electroweak physics. The text is detailed enough to give a clear qualitative explanation of the physical essence and introduce the main concepts and ideas. At the same time it is concise and to the point. There are enough mathematical details to realize what type of calculations are involved, how their logic is, and how they are finally related to experimental data. For some cases you can directly follow the formulas and produce the results yourself. At the same time no cumbersome calculations are presented, instead references are given to the interested reader. I also appreciate a continual accent on the experimental validation of theoretical ideas. Therefore, I would recommend this book to those who need a quick look at electroweak theory in order to have a general idea and decide if they want advanced reading for any particular topic.
