For someone that is detailed oriented, I found this book not to be useful. The main points of biochemistry were summed up, but the exact details were forgotten. I had this book assigned to me for graduate school, and I could've done without it. I ended up using my undergraduate text to help explain the details that the professor was looking for on essay questions instead of this book. However, it is useful for someone that wants a basic overview on biochemistry. May even be a good introductory for AP Bio students or chemistry students in high school.
