I found MICROBE to be very well written, easy to read, interesting, and very informative. It helped me to put my limited information into perspective. The book helped me to understand such serious subjects as the bird flu, the mad cow disease, the realities of biological warfare, and the social aspects of dealing with an epidemic. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to better understand the realities and risks associated with the potential for a deadly epidemic.
