Asymmetric catalysis is the most efficient and economical way to produce optically active chemicals, and is of great importance for both industrial applications and academic research. However, the practical application of asymmetric catalysis is severely limited by the difficulties in separation and recycling of the expensive chiral catalysts, primarily due to the homogeneous nature of the reaction systems.
