This book has two parts- a collection of problems you're invited to solve using principles of modern (quantum) physics. And a collection of trivia, quotes and miscellanea in the margin about modern physics. I especially liked the trivia. Find out about Nikola Tesla, why space must have three dimensions, what cold fusion might be, faster-than-light travel, and how your microwave works.
The book is surprisingly technical- I imagine few people who aren't physicists will solve the problems ( I certainly didn't). So just read the problems and learn from the answers. Watch out too- there are quite a few technical equations in the answers.
