It is nicely written and comprehensive book for readers, who want to go deep in the field of developmental skeletal biology. It provides impressive information about basic processes of skeletongenesis and interspecies' evolution. Unfortunately there is no too much about the last news of the underlying molecular bases but obviously this was not the major aim of the authors. However, as compensation they always refer to appropriate titles for further information.
