Herman and Smith do an excellent job of supporting their thesis that immigrants have consistently supported new growth in a variety of sectors. They demonstrate this through a series of illustrative, easy to read examples. The book is thoroughly researched, and their style is easy to follow. Anyone interested in, or involved in domestic policy formulation as related to economic issues would benefit from this work.
