Historic Events for Students (HES) is a new addition to the Gale Group’s for Students line, presenting users with the complete picture of an important event in world history. With standardized rubrics throughout each entry, for which the for Students line is wellknown, and a variety of complementary elements including illustrations, sidebars, and suggestions for further research, HES will examine all of the components that contributed to or sprung from a significant period of time, from ideologies and politics to contemporary opinions and popular culture.
