Aimed at those with a background in electrical engineering, this text describes the various applications of wavelet techniques in computational electromagnetics and signal analysis. The focus is on formulating wavelet-based solutions to Maxwell's equations. A sampling of topics includes the use of a multiscale basis in solving integral equations, the relationship of the continuous wavelet transform and the Fourier transform, development of the T-pulse, and denoising signals.
