In some cases the authors have added a brief addendum to bring information up to date, and in other cases more recent references have been added. Following the listings of acronyms and crystal structure nomenclature, the 13 contributions deal with the structural applications of all metal-metal compounds (both ordered and disordered, binary and multicomponent).
