The Advanced Course took place from March 4 to 15, 1974 and was organised by the Mathematical Institute of the Technical University of Munich and the Leibniz Computing Center of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences, in co-operation with the European Communities, sponsored by the Ministry for Research and Technology of the Federal Republic of Germany and by the European Research Office, London.
