Each entry provides birth and death dates and information on fields of specialization, and examines the scientist's work and contributions to the field, as well as family and educational background. About 50 b&w photos are included. Entries are indexed by field, country of birth, and country of scientific activity, and chronologically. Todd is a freelance writer. Angelo is a retired lieutenant colonel with the US Air Force.
