Web Site Privacy with P3P

As part of our continuing strategy to build a complete shelf of technical security books for IT professionals, we are publishing this first book on an important new web site privacy standard, P3P. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has just approved the standard. This book will provide detailed descriptions of the P3P stan-dard and its parameters followed by guidelines, explanations, and P3P how-to examples for system architects to follow. A full XML tutorial appendix is provided as all web sites that use P3P encode their privacy policies in XML format.
