As a sequel to Understanding digital subscriber line technology, this book introduces the newest members of the DSL family and reports on the maturation of some of the older family members, including ADSL, HDSL2, SHDSL, and VDSL. Later chapters overview the spectrum management of different DSL services in a single loop plant, the new area of dynamic spectrum management, and the end-to-end network that surrounds DSL. An appendix provides a b&w photographic tour of the telephone company network.
