Presenting the results of a year-long research project, this volume proposes a teacher-directed authentic assessment model for evaluating K-12 studio art and offers practical guidance on the implementation of that model. The volume evaluates current assessment methods and includes the assessment instruments used in the study; research methodology and results are detailed in an appendix. The authors are affiliated with Florida State, Northern Illinois, and Purdue universities.
