It walks through the basics of using the Visual Basic Editor that comes with Microsoft Office, covers the Excel Object Model, and illustrates how to use the various objects, properties, and methods to create macros. Although the book requires no experience with programming, familiarity with the Windows operating system is helpful. The CD-ROM contains trial and demo software, sample code and spreadsheets from the book, and a searchable version of the book. Simon is the author of several computer books. The book shows Hungry Minds as the publisher, but that company is now part of Wiley.
