The problem with this book is that ignores the religious concepts of the words in the bible. It matters very much who wrote the bible ! The author thinks not. Every enlightened person realizes that the Hebrew bible was edited over the 3,500 years its been around. The initial oral preaching and later writing it down through oral transmission, so that it not be forgotten, has been known for at least 2,500 yrs. Scribes, even today, continue to copy the Hebrew Torah from generation to generation. The Torah's divine inspiration is excluded by the author. If you believe in G-d, I would not suggest this book. The bible is not literature or does it consist of pure literal wording. There are many layers of meaning to the words to each generation who reads it. This book does not bring that out. Just because original oral teachings are not written down immediately does not mean they are not true. The Torah itself has Moses only writing down key sections himself and the rest by others through his oral teachings. The writings were compiled and passed down from generation to generation. Yes, some things were edited for religious reasons but the meaning has not changed the truth of the teachings or that they were from the mouth of Moses who received the divine word.
