This book which was written in 1943 is mostly about explosives as it's name suggests. However there are sections on blackpowder and pyrotechnics, making up about 100 pages (out of 500). There are a great many useful formula and sections on the construction of most pyrotechnic devices. It is well written and illustrated and taking into consideration it's age, still a useful book.
